Alvin Tan of Poblacion Sta. fe Nueva Vizcaya has been motivated to establish the East Point Hardware and Supply that caters to customers and contractors here in Sta. Fe. Alvin had a worked before at Metro Steel in Pasay-One of the few Philippine steel manufacturing companies that can export steel products. He then became a subcontractor for government projects such as concreting of roads among others. Tan has engaged the once-thriving video rental when he was still struggling in the beginning.
According to Alvin, The greatest challenge in starting the business was on how to choose the location and area of your business. Tan did not have experience at first but because of his hard work and perseverance, he manages to put up the hardware and sought assistance from all his friend the know-how of this kind of business. The store’s current location is where Alvin wanted to be happy with his wife and children.
He believes in sayings“ Sipag at Tiyaga ”Ang sipag at tiyaga ay mahalagang sangkap upang umunlad ang isang tao, anuman ang estado, kinatatayuan o pinanggalingan sa buhay.
